“This customer was looking to do a complete transition from natural gas to an all electric system. We installed a PVA Mitsubishi Air Handler with variable speed refrigerant flow and air flow, we match that with a PUZ Hyper Heat Outdoor unit that can heat down to -13F, and that is without the help of any back up electric heat! This customer was also looking to get away from their gas water heater, we installed a Hybrid Heat pump water heater! It will take the heat out of the garage and use it to heat the water! How efficient and a great use of all the heat that builds up in the garage during the warmer months! Not to mention we went from a low efficiency air conditioning system to a High SEER variable speed air conditioning system, so the customer will save money every summer on their electricity AND be much more comfortable!
Another issue that we were able to solve with this home was the air quality. Before the air was dry, and there was only a very basic filtration system. We installed an AccuClean® Air Purification system, that does not use a “throw away” filter, but rather uses a reusable pre-filter that only needs to be vacuumed periodically combined with an electronic filtration system. This amazing filter system removes up to 99.98% of allergens from the air, traps particles as small as .1 micron, and is 100 times more effective than a 1″ filter! We then paired that AccuClean with an Aprilaire Steam Humidifier to provide just the right amount of humidity to make the home comfortable, reduce dry noses and ensure that no wood inside the house dries out or cracks!
