“This customer was looking for a good solution to help them heat and cool a portion of their cabin. They we also looking for a way that they could control the system from their phone when they are not at the cabin. We were able to install a Mitsubishi Ductless Hyper-Heat Heat pump with Kumo Cloud, so that he can control it from his phone. The Ductless Hyper Heat system can heat down to -13F which was perfect for the cold climate where this cabin was located. We also needed to hang the outdoor unit off the ground due to the amount of snow that they get at the cabin’s location.“

    From start to finish, our experience with Peppy has been amazing! We needed to replace one of our 15 yr old ductless mini split systems and Rob helped us figure out several different options that could work. He went above and beyond to make sure our questions were answered. Kevin and Diego were prompt, clean, hardworking and got everything installed and running in 1 day. Because we were changing brands of mini split and using our existing wiring, there were a few hiccups that Kevin was able to solve and he contacted Mitsubishi to ensure that everything would work properly with these fixes.     Sammy was great! He was very polite and respectful. He took his hat off to introduce himself, put shoe covers on when entering the house; and asked permission to move in and out from the house to his work van. He explained the process of finding and fixing the leak in an easy to understand manner. And showed me before and after pictures with videos of the gas leak. He was extremely thorough with his work. The repair price was very reasonable, highly recommend!

    Before having my home retrofitted with ductless mini splits throughout the entire house, I researched eight local companies and five manufacturers. Rob outlined my options clearly and answered all of my questions knowledgeably, including my follow-up questions. He provided an accurate estimate the same day we met, scheduled the four-day job quickly, sending an extra team to finish in three days.     Peppy installed a new AC and Heating system for me in Oct 2024. Their pricing was very competitive with the other 4 bids I received. They worked with me on modifying the service contract, and I was very satisfied with the final pricing. After 8 months of usage, through the winter and now into early summer, I am very happy with the installation and how the system has performed over this period. The crew who installed the new HVAC were very friendly and professional, did a very good job of answering all of my questions, and did an excellent job cleaning up and leaving the area as they found it. Recently, I had my first free service as part of the contract. The technician checked system operation for peak efficiency, inspected electrical connections, and blew out the condensation drain line. And, even though the system was still very new, he thoroughly cleaned the AC coils and furnace. If you’re looking for a Trane, look no further then Brett and his crew at Peppy – I believe you will be very happy with your choice!

    If I could give more stars I would! Sammy came out promptly on time, assessed the repairs and gave us multiple options. He made the repairs and had our AC blowing cold with it just a couple of hours. All the pricing was upfront and there were no hidden fees halfway through the Repair.

    My split unit needed its annual service job. The appointment was easy to get scheduled, the technician was here at the time planned with a 15 minute phone call from him as he was on his way. He was a very nice young man, very careful to wear protective wear over his shoes when in the house. The job was finished within an hour. He was professional and told me what he had found and done to the unit and wished me a nice summer.

    The first time I heard of Peppy's Heating and Cooling was when the restoration company, making repairs due to a water heater leak, called them in to remove the furnace. I was immediately impressed with their professionalism and their systematic approach, including extensive picture documentation of the 3 zone wiring, before removing the furnace. Their professionalism was also evident when they returned to reinstall the HVAC system without any operational issues.

    The next time I contacted Peppy's was when my former HVAC company, after a routine maintenance visit, said my furnace had a cracked heat exchanger which needed immediate attention. In addition they said my AC compressor motor showed signs of an oil leak and needed to be replaced soon.

    I contacted Peppy's for a second opinion, since I had a previous positive experience. When the technician, Kevin, arrived I explained the issues that were identified. Kevin inspected the heat exchanger and did not find any evidence of a crack or abnormality. He also inspected the AC motor and said there was no issue with the motor and there was no evidence of an oil leak.

    I have since hired Peppy's as my HVAC company. I had my first maintenance visit for AC and furnace this spring and had Kevin do the service. He indicated everything was in proper working condition and no issues were found.

    I just had a Mitsubishi Wall Mounted heating/AC unit installed earlier this week. I had several estimates and Rob -the Project Manager provided a clear yet comprehensive review of the equipement options. The quoted price was in line with the other estimates but what 'sealed the deal' was Peppy's ability to set up the electrician, schedule a timely installation (within days of the initial meeting), schedule the visit/sign off by the Ada County inspector and provide the certificate need for a tax rebate.

    Rob was on-site for the split unit installation which was expertly done by the two man Peppy crew (and the electrician). The area was fully cleaned and the unit up and running within three hours. The entire experience was like hitting the 'EASY BUTTON'!

    We’ve used Peppy’s for both a new furnace and AC. They were proactive in letting us know the old style Freon ACs were no longer being manufactured and now would be the time to buy a new one that is compatible with the coil in our furnace.     This was my first time using Peppy Heating and cooling and I will definitely call on them again. The service was very friendly and provided excellent service on my furnace. I ended up needing a new part plus cleaning and new filter and was afraid the bill was going to be a lot but it wasn't. The price for service was more then fair and very reasonable. He reviewed and throughly explained all options detailing key differences and benefits of minisplit options. He provides expert advice on proper location for optimal performance and efficiency. The day of the install the technicians were very professional and courteous. Peppy coordinated an electrician to install a new 220 breaker and ran power to the unit. This occurred simultaneously as the minsplit was installed. The whole process went flawlessly. Furthermore Peppy arranged the electrical inspection from city.     Brett and the entire team take the time to listen to what you need and they go out of their way to ensure that the objective is accomplished. I am so grateful that my builder decided on Peppy.

    We just finished (about 18 months now) a custom modern farmhouse, constructed using LEED principles. We have 4,400 sq ft of open, expansive spaces. Brett and the team talked us into using the more efficient ductless system throughout the house and we couldn't be more happy with the final product. We have two Mitsubishi heat pumps and 9 total cassette heads, and one mini-ducted-air-handler, in our home. Our average monthly energy cost for our home (entire electric bill with a/c heat included) over the first year was about $200/month. That is amazingly efficient for 4,400 sq ft!!!

    After getting the system installed and living with it for a year, Brett and the team, really went out of their way to help us find some new, cost-effective, technology allowing us to automate the system and integrate the controls into an online app that we can control with our phone anywhere. I feel like they are blazing some new trails with this aspect of ductless systems and they are doing a really great job making it work as easy as other traditional systems. The thing that really-really impressed me, is that the objective for Brett and the Peppy team was total customer satisfaction. They were respectful and equitable about the entire process and were not done until I was satisfied with this system, I was amazed at this level of customer service!

    I would recommend Peppy hands down! 10 out of 10!!! They will be the only shop our family will call for any of our H-VAC needs!

    I wish I had better pictures to do their work justice, but what is incredible is that I took these pictures when we were moving in, and the system is so well integrated that it is hard to tell it is there!

It was a challenge for them to figure out the problem but with the help of Cody and Brett, the problem was resolved. Brett (the owner) took ownership of the problem and worked with Cody (the technician) and the manufacturer (Trane) to get the issue resolved.     After meeting with several HVAC companies to install a split system in my home, I decided to go with Peppy and so glad I did! They were the ONLY company that suggested a ceiling unit rather than putting on the wall, I even asked the other companies and they said you don’t want that it’s too expensive. Come to find out, Peppy is really the only company that does it and from a sightly view it makes all the sense in the world and not much more in money. From the beginning with their sales rep Rob to their owner Brett and their installers Lance and (so sorry can’t remember the other gentleman’s name but super respectful and personable) everyone was extremely professional, knowledgeable and clean. I HIGHLY recommend Peppy for your HVAC needs they will be my go to HVAC company for years to come.

    Peppy was great! Alex was polite, efficient, and did not pressure me into a hard upsell on anything. He fixed the problem quickly, was honest with his assessment, and stop my house from feeling like I was living in the middle of the Sahara desert! I will likely call on them again very soon, since I’m pretty sure I will need an entire new system. The fact that Alex didn't try to sell me on things I don’t need was much appreciated!
